Raised in Berkeley, CA, multi-talented rapper and vocalist Kossisko’s musical influence is shared with his African heritage - including years living in the Ivory Coast. Rising as one of the most unique voices on the west coast scene, Kossisko incorporates an updated classic west coast low-end sound with an urgent pop & R&B oriented vocal delivery.
Grammy nominated for his songwriting contribution on Beck’s Hyperspace album, Kossisko originally burst onto the scene with a distinctive G-Funk oriented style under his previous pseudonym 100s. After garnering support from Complex, FADER, XXL, Noisey, Pitchfork and more, he dropped the 100s moniker for his birth name Kossisko and has now re-emerged with a distinctive sound and brand all his own. Kossisko has landed a considerable amount of attention for his striking looks, from features in lookbooks for streetwear powerhouse Billionaire Boys Club, to a nationally syndicated commercial for Apple’s iPhone, to appearing in season one of HBO’s “Euphoria,” and starring as himself in the fifth most-watched Netflix original series, “Sex/Life.”
Ahead of debuting his new album “World of Trouble” in 2022 as the flagship artist under G-Eazy’s brand new label “Red Stairway Records,” Kossisko was featured on G-Eazy’s “Running Wild (Tumblr Girls 2)” single from his highly anticipated album “These Things Happen Too.”
