By 2025, makko will definitely be one of the biggest stars that German rap has produced in the last year. A man of many trades with a deep voice flow, maximum coolness, urban sensitivity, and an unmistakable aesthetic somewhere between skate spot, studio, and Boloboys universe. The widest gap between his teeth in Berlin, his trademark style, and his inimitable switch heels have long made him a figure you recognize before you hear him.

Growing up between Brandenburg and Berlin, first came skateboarding, then music—a reversed Lil Wayne story that still forms his creative backbone today. Ever since “Nachts wach” (together with Miksu & Macloud), makko has been one of the scene's undisputed fixtures. He also released the “Undercover EP” with the two, which once again sharpened his cross-genre style and pushed musical boundaries. 

2025 was all about his breakthrough and coming of age:

over 500 million streams, a legendary Splash! performance with a capacity of 15,000 people, new creative alliances – including with Nina Cuba – that have further opened up and expanded his sound.

makko has long been more than just a rapper: he is a movement, a style, a feeling for a generation that lives nonconformity rather than performing it. An artist who has come to stay – and who will be bigger than ever in 2026.
