Seine Geschichte beginnt schon früh. Im Alter von 8 Jahren, 2004. Künstler Tiësto hatte damals einen Auftritt bei den Olympischen, den Martin Garrix im Fernsehen sah. Daraufhin brachte er sich selbst bei Musik zu produzieren und landete im Jahr 2013 mit „Animals“ den ersten großen Hit. Diesem sind unzählige weitere gefolgt. Martin Garrix zählt seitdem zu den ganz Großen im EDM Game.
