"I'm back", badmómzjay opens the first track and title song from her album "SURVIVAL MODE". "I always felt like I grew up in 'survival mode' and somehow it's still like that," says badmómzjay, explaining the idea behind the title. "Sure, a lot of things are easier now. But a lot of things are also more stressful, much louder and you feel like you're constantly fighting against or for something."

Working on "Survival Mode" took a little over a year, partly because badmómzjay kept going into an inner battle about whether the songs, the feelings and the vibe still represented her. The stories she tells are real, close to life. And yet combative, socially critical and very direct. SURVIVAL MODE sounds like exactly this mixture: "There are songs that are a bit more forward, others are a bit more aggressive, then there are the emotional songs or simply party tracks."

"I have the feeling that I made the album for little Jordy. And I'm trying to give her what she would never have dreamed of," says the artist about the album cover, which shows her as a child. With the "Die Crowd geht dumm" club tour, which sold out in just a few minutes, and the big "Survival Mode Tour", more dreams will come true in 2024.
