Dear freQs and Space Cats,

We trembled and hoped for a long time, but as we all expected due to the recent development, the federal government has just announced that there will be no major events in Austria this summer because of the COVID-19 pandemic. With a heavy heart, we unfortunately have to cancel FQ20. Even if the cancellation has already cost us a lot of tears, we are 100% behind the decision of the federal government – after all, this is about our health.

Our „baby“ was born in Vienna in front of about 5000 people 20 years ago in 2001. Since then we have looked after it self-sacrificingly and proudly watched it grow up. 2020 should have been its big 20th anniversary. We were already in the middle of the last planning phases to make this anniversary an unforgettable experience for all of us. Unfortunately, we now have to cancel our plans for this year. But we will definitely not be discouraged. We are optimistic about the future and therefore announce today that in August 2021 we will see each other again. And it will be the most beautiful, colorful and loudest reunion of the year!
